FunClip v2.1.0: reproducible source release and bilingual guides
FunClip v2.1.0 is now available as the first official versioned FunClip release.
The release contains deterministic source archives rather than a Python wheel because FunClip is an application and does not define Python package metadata:
- FunClip-2.1.0.tar.gz
- FunClip-2.1.0.zip
- SHA256SUMS
Release and checksums: https://github.com/modelscope/FunClip/releases/tag/v2.1.0
The exact merged source passed 50 tests with 1 skipped. Six additional release-contract tests passed in a clean Python 3.12 environment, and both the initial GitHub Actions release and a deliberate rerun completed successfully. The hosted Space is running the signed deployment with funasr==1.3.29.
Technical guides:
- English: https://www.funasr.com/en/blog/funclip-v2-1-0-video-clipping-release.html
- 中文: https://www.funasr.com/blog/funclip-v2-1-0-video-clipping-release.html
The guides cover Paraformer, Fun-ASR-Nano, SenseVoice and English launch modes, transcript-driven LLM clipping, optional TwelveLabs Pegasus, checksum verification, and the relationship with FunASR 1.3.29.
Please report the selected ASR model, input duration, hardware, and exact error if you find a release or Space problem. If FunClip is useful in your workflow, you can follow development or star the repository here: https://github.com/modelscope/FunClip
